Nvidia creates new robot inspired by Star Wars (video)

American chipmaker Nvidia has unveiled its Blue robot, which is powered by artificial intelligence. The company's founder and president, Jensen Huang, showed it off at the GTC 2025 conference.

At the presentation, Huang introduced the Newton physics engine, an open-source engine for modeling robotics. It was developed in collaboration with Google's DeepMind artificial intelligence company and Disney Research. The Blue robot was created using this engine.

When the robot took the stage, Huang addressed it: "Hi, Blue, how are you? Do you like the new physics engine? Do you like it? Yes, I know for sure."

During the conference, Nvidia also announced the world's first open-source humanoid robot, the Isaac GR00T N1.
