Meta launches its own Meta AI assistant app

Meta has launched a new artificial intelligence app called Meta AI, reported Kursiv Media. The company behind Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, and Messenger introduces a digital assistant that offers personalized responses based on users' activity on social networks.

Meta AI runs on the advanced Llama 4 model and aims to rival platforms like OpenAI and Google. The app is also compatible with Meta’s smart glasses.
