ChatGPT service from OpenAI is temporarily unavailable for some users worldwide. Since Tuesday morning, June 10, there have been serious disruptions in the platform's operation, rbc.ua reports.
What is known about the ChatGPT outage?
Users report a "Something went wrong" error when attempting to load the chat or receive a response to a query. According to Downdetector, problems began around 10:00 AM Kyiv time. The outage has affected numerous regions worldwide.
OpenAI's status page indicated that at this time, some users began to observe "an increased number of errors and delays," noting that the problems affected ChatGPT, the text-to-video tool Sora, and OpenAI API.
As of 1:00 PM, OpenAI added a separate line for "increased errors in Sora," and later updated ChatGPT's status to "partial outage."
Some can still access ChatGPT, but notice that the service is working slowly and responding significantly longer than usual.
Others can use the chatbot without any problems, so the outages and errors do not seem to have affected all users.
OpenAI stated that they "continue to investigate this issue." The causes of the outage and the time for stable service restoration are currently unknown. Read 'Zamin' on Telegram!
