Spotify adds audiobooks to Family Plan for the first time
According to TechCrunch, Spotify is officially rolling out audiobook access to its Family Plan subscribers for the first time.

Previously, only Premium Individual and Duo subscribers could enjoy up to 15 hours of audiobook listening each month. With the new update, all six members of a Family Plan will now have that same monthly listening allowance.

This move strengthens Spotify’s position not just as a music and podcast service, but as a growing audiobook platform, directly competing with services like Amazon’s Audible.

The feature is now available in the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, and Canada. A broader global rollout is expected soon.
