Opendoor Technologies Inc shares rose 9% on Friday, investing.com reported. This followed the announcement of the resignation of the company’s CEO Carrie Wheeler. Her departure came after several weeks of tension with a group of retail investors.
Shrisha Radhakrishna, who was serving as the technology and products director, was appointed as interim leader. Additionally, Eric Feder became the independent lead director, and Spencer Stuart is conducting the search for a new CEO.
Investors expect the new leader to fully leverage artificial intelligence potential, large data sets, and innovative products to take Opendoor to a new level.
