Finally! Instagram has launched an official iPad app - the first in the history of Apple's tablets. According to Kursiv.media, iPad owners can now download the adapted version directly from the App Store.
It's been a full 15 years since the first iPad was released, and all this time Instagram has been limited to only the iPhone version. Users either stretched the interface or opened the site through a browser.
Now the application is fully adapted for large screens. Feed and private messages are on the left, and comments on the right. This makes navigation much more convenient.
The developers paid special attention to Reels - now, when launching the application, the first thing to do is open the short videos section. This approach aligns with trends and audience expectations.
The app is available on devices running iPadOS 15.1 and higher. Considering the popularity of Apple tablets, we can say that Instagram has taken a step towards a huge audience. Have you already tried the new version?
