The next new generation of smartphones developed by Apple - the iPhone 17 series - is on the verge of entering the global market. In this process, China's production potential is once again manifested as a decisive factor. This was reported by the local Xinhua news agency.
According to reports, the Foxconn factory, located in Zhengzhou, is the main hub for assembling iPhones. It is one of the largest production facilities in the world and continues to strengthen China's global influence in the electronics industry.
Currently, the plant is operating at full capacity. The company's management emphasizes that measures are being taken to increase the workforce to meet the high demand in the global market. In particular, thousands of candidates stand in long queues every day in front of the plant's recruitment center.
Foxconn's human resources management noted that since the end of July, the plant has been accepting thousands of workers daily, and this situation may continue until the end of September.
Tens of thousands of temporary workers work at the highest stages of production at the plant. They will be involved in assembly, quality control, and packaging.
According to Zhao Yanhui, one of the local workers living in Henan Province, she and her husband can earn more than 40,000 yuan (approximately $5,600) after three months of work. This is significantly higher than the average salary in the region.
The city of Zhengzhou has also become an international transport hub. Eight major cargo air routes operate here, through which direct communication is established with more than 100 cities in 24 countries of Europe, America, and Asia. Updated iPhone series shipments will be distributed worldwide by air, rail, and road.
