About 95% of the population of Uzbekistan uses the Internet

According to the National Statistics Committee, in January-August 2025, 94.2% of the population of Uzbekistan used the Internet.

In recent years, the number of internet users in the country has been steadily growing. For example, if in 2021 this indicator was 76.6 percent, then in 2022 it reached 83.9 percent.

In 2023, the level of internet usage increased by 89%, and in 2024 - by 93.3%. In the first eight months of this year, this indicator reached 94.2 percent.

According to officials, the widespread use of the internet among the population further expands opportunities in the field of digital services, education, healthcare, and entrepreneurship.
