The Japanese division of Google presented a conceptual computer keyboard in the style of a rotary phone, Rozetked reported. Instead of traditional keys, letters are typed using special discs.
According to the company, such keys are conveniently positioned for the hand, and the disc system prevents accidental presses and ensures reliable typing. At the same time, the disc's return helps allocate time efficiently and type calmly.
It's not necessary to take this product seriously — Google Japan introduces such playful concepts every year. For example, in 2022, the company showcased the Gboard Bar keyboard, where all the letters are arranged in a single row.
At the same time, Google has published the blueprints so that anyone can make this disc keyboard themselves.
