IBM, headquartered in Armonk, New York, announced on Tuesday that it will add the Claude family of large language models to its programs, TechCrunch reported. The Claude model will first be used in IBM’s integrated programming environment, which is currently being offered to selected clients.
Additionally, IBM and Anthropic have jointly prepared a practical guide for creating, implementing, and maintaining artificial intelligence agents for enterprises.
The terms were not disclosed. TechCrunch requested additional information from IBM regarding the future of this partnership.
After Anthropic launched Claude Enterprise in September 2024, it has been actively entering the corporate market.
On Monday, it was announced that Claude models will also be implemented at Deloitte, a company with nearly 500,000 employees. This is considered the company’s largest corporate project.
According to a study conducted by Menlo Ventures in July 2025, corporations prefer Claude models over other artificial intelligence models. It was noted there that the use of OpenAI models has been declining since 2023.
