A new historical breakthrough has occurred in the world of technology - Camera Intelligence startup has introduced the first artificial intelligence camera compatible with iPhone smartphones. The NotebookCheck portal reported on an innovative device called Caira.
The camera is attached to the iPhone via the MagSafe magnetic interface and supports Olympus and Panasonic lenses. Its sensor area is four times larger than the main iPhone 17 Pro sensor, making the image quality clearer and brighter.
Caira has a 5000 mAh battery, a special application control system, and a convenient handle. At the same time, information about autofocus and sensor accuracy has not yet been disclosed.
The most important innovation is artificial intelligence functions. The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and a Google Edge accelerator. It features the Google Nano Banana model, which allows real-time image editing during filming.
The user can turn a daytime shot into a night scene or change clothes and accessories. At the same time, the camera does not change natural features, such as the color of the human face and skin.
Pre-orders for Caira will start on October 30 on the Kickstarter platform. The price has not yet been announced, but experts assess this device as the beginning of a new era in smartphone photography.
