Teen safety on Instagram
Meta has introduced PG-13 style filters on Instagram for users under 18. They will no longer see posts with strong language, risky actions, or adult content.

The new rules also apply to AI tools. Teens are automatically set to PG-13, and parents can increase controls.

Meta has previously strengthened teen protections, including limiting content about self-harm.

The new settings will roll out in the US, UK, Australia, and Canada, and worldwide by the end of the year.
