iPhone Air sold out in China within minutes

Apple launched the iPhone Air smartphone for sale in China, and all devices were sold out within a few minutes after orders opened, Rozetked reported.

Sales began on October 17 in the morning. The model officially went on sale in China just a month after its global premiere, only recently receiving regulatory approval.

iPhone Air supports only eSIM technology. Delivery of online orders is already delayed by 1–2 weeks. The enormous demand coincided with Apple CEO Tim Cook’s visit to China. During his trip, he met with Vice Premier He Lifeng and participated in an event as chairman of the advisory board of the School of Management at Tsinghua University.

According to analysts, the high sales demonstrate stable interest in the iPhone in the Chinese market. This means that Apple is maintaining its position despite the premium segment efforts of competitors like Huawei and Xiaomi.
