iPhone sales increased for the first time in several years

Apple recorded the first signs of an increase in iPhone sales after several years of stagnation. The demand for the new generation of smartphones turned out to be much higher than analysts expected - against the backdrop of redesign in the series in recent years.

According to the Financial Times, the waiting time for the delivery of the iPhone 17 has increased by approximately 13% compared to last year, and queues have reappeared in Apple stores.

Updated cameras, displays, and batteries prompted users to upgrade their old devices. Revenue from iPhones will grow by 4% in fiscal year 2025, reaching $209.3 billion, and will increase by almost another 5% in 2026.

Apple continues to maintain interest in the new model through trade-in programs and subsidies in China, despite tariff pressure and subsequent delays in AI features.
