China demonstrated the world's most humanoid robot

China's XPeng company presented a new generation robot - IRON - at XPeng Tech Day, TechNode reported. According to the company, this is "the most humanoid robot in the world."

IRON mimics human anatomy with artificial muscles, bionic skin, and a flexible bone structure. The robot's hands have 22 degrees of freedom, and it performs movements and speech naturally.

Its control system is based on three Turing AI chips. This model allows IRON to combine vision, understanding, and communication skills.

The company notes that IRON is the first humanoid robot in the industry to use a rigid battery and has an automatic braking system to ensure safety.

According to XPeng's plan, the robot will first be used in business sectors, and mass production is scheduled for the end of 2026.
