QuTwo AI lab founded by Peter Sarlin valued at $380 million

Finland-based AI lab QuTwo, founded by Peter Sarlin, former head of Silo AI (acquired by AMD), has raised €25 million in funding. As a result, the company's valuation has reached $380 million. This investment highlights the growing interest in AI and quantum computing technologies in Europe, according to Techcrunch.com reports.
QuTwo's flagship product is QuTwo OS. This system acts as an orchestration layer that distributes tasks between classical, quantum, or hybrid architectures. The company has already generated $23 million in revenue by assisting corporate clients, such as major retailers like Zalando, in developing AI assistants.
Peter Sarlin views QuTwo as a long-term organization, contrasting it with projects like OpenAI that prioritize rapid growth. According to him, the company is developing based on a five-to-ten-year strategy and aims to strengthen Europe's technological sovereignty.
Currently, Europe is supporting local innovations as an alternative to US technological solutions. QuTwo aims to accelerate research and development in sectors where Europe is strong, such as automotive, life sciences, and the gaming industry.
