Tesla cars deploy airbags before a collision

Tesla has announced a new feature added to its Tesla Vision system. Electric vehicles can now detect an inevitable collision and deploy airbags before the impact occurs. This is reported by Ixbt.com reports .
According to the company, the new technology operates 70 milliseconds faster than traditional systems. Although this time interval seems very short, it can be crucial in saving the lives of the driver and passengers during an accident.
The foundation of this solution is the Tesla Vision computer vision system. It analyzes traffic conditions in real-time using cameras and artificial intelligence algorithms. If the system determines that a collision is unavoidable, it immediately activates the safety mechanisms.
Tesla experts emphasize that this innovation significantly reduces the risk of serious injuries. In some cases, this technology may even allow car owners to exit the vehicle independently after a severe collision.
As a reminder, Tesla Model Y was previously the first vehicle to successfully pass the new ADAS driver assistance system tests conducted by the US government.
