System requirements for 007 First Light announced

The creators of the young James Bond game 007 First Light have announced expanded system requirements. According to initial data released in January, the game can run on a GeForce GTX 1660 graphics card at a minimum, suggesting the project is not overly demanding. This is reported by Ixbt.com .

An RTX 3060 Ti is recommended for Full HD gaming, while an RTX 4070 is required for 1440p at 60 fps. For 4K UHD, depending on quality settings, an RTX 4080 or RTX 5080 is needed. Developers note that with an RTX 5080 and DLSS, it is possible to achieve over 200 fps in 4K.

The game supports not only ray tracing but also path tracing, though the latter will be added via an update this summer. The project launches on May 27 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series consoles.

Interestingly, 007 First Light is built on the Glacier engine, known for Hitman 3, rather than Unreal Engine 5. This is why the game's system requirements are significantly lower and more optimized compared to modern titles.
