Wispr Flow advances voice AI in the Indian market

Indian internet users are accustomed to actively using voice messages and search engines. However, the country's linguistic diversity and complex environment pose challenges for scaling AI-based businesses. Nevertheless, the startup Wispr Flow considers this market its fastest-growing region. This is reported by Techcrunch.com reports .
The company has launched support for "Hinglish," a blend of Hindi and English. Initially developed for Mac and Windows, the software now runs on Android, with an iOS release planned for 2025.
Wispr Flow founder Tanay Kothari notes that while the app was initially popular among engineers and managers, it is now actively used by students and older users. India has become the startup's second-largest market after the US.
To increase its user base, the company has introduced special discounted pricing plans for India. Future plans include further price reductions and the addition of other local languages to reach a broader population outside major cities.
