Acer introduces the Nitro Blaze Link portable gaming console

Ahead of Computex 2026, Acer unveiled its new Nitro Blaze Link (model GN722) portable console. The gadget's main feature is its narrow specialization: the device is designed for streaming games from more powerful hardware. Unlike full-fledged portable PCs, the new model has much more modest technical specifications. This is reported by Ixbt.com. reports .
The console is equipped with only 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal flash storage. An 18 Wh battery is responsible for the device's autonomous operation. At the same time, engineers managed to significantly reduce the weight of the device — it weighs only 464 grams. The Nitro Blaze Link is equipped with a 7-inch, Full HD+ (1920 x 1200 pixels) touchscreen IPS display and 2 W stereo speakers.
The controls consist of a standard set: two analog sticks, a D-pad, action buttons, and triggers. A Wi-Fi 6 module is used for network connection, and a single USB Type-C port supporting up to 15 W of power is provided for charging. It is worth noting that this port is not intended for data transfer or connecting external devices.
The core concept of the device is based on seamless integration with Acer gaming laptops. The console allows users to stream games from their library over a local network. So far, there is no precise information regarding support for cloud services like NVIDIA GeForce Now or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.
Sales of the Acer Nitro Blaze Link in North America are scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2026. The price of the gadget is expected to be announced closer to the official release date.
