Uzbekistan welcomed 37.5K tourists from Germany

According to the Statistics Agency, the number of German tourists visiting Uzbekistan in 2024 has significantly increased compared to the previous year. A total of 37,500 German tourists visited Uzbekistan, which is 7,918 more than during the same period last year.

The main purposes of their trips were as follows:
Tourism – 31,291 people;
Visiting relatives – 4,524 people;
Business trips – 1,580 people;
Commercial visits – 80 people;
Education – 43 people;
Medical treatment – 8 people.

These figures indicate a growing interest among German citizens in Uzbekistan as a travel destination and highlight the importance of family and business connections between the two countries.
