President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrived in the city of Khujand on a working visit.

The head of state was met at the airport by President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon.

In honor of the visit of the head of Uzbekistan, the state flags were raised. National songs and dances were performed.

A trilateral meeting of the presidents of Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan will take place today.

According to the agenda, issues of further strengthening of friendship, good-neighborly and strategic partnership relations, expansion of trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian cooperation will be discussed.

At the end of the negotiations, it is planned to sign an agreement on the point of contact of the state borders of Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan.

The presidents will also participate in a joint concert with the participation of artists.
