ADB to provide Uzbekistan $30M for mortgage support

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has approved a $30 million loan for Uzbekistan’s Mortgage Refinancing Company (MRC), Kursiv.media reported.

The funds will support the development of inclusive and green mortgage financing across the country, with a special focus on women borrowers.

According to the project description, the initiative aims to expand access to housing loans and promote financing for energy-efficient home renovations in Uzbekistan.

It’s worth noting that since March this year, Uzbekistan has resumed accepting applications for mortgage subsidies. Residents of the capital, regions, and Karakalpakstan are all eligible to apply. Follow “Zamin” news on “Telegram”
