Uzbekistan opens Central Asia’s first Chocolate Museum

Uzbekistan opens Central Asia’s first Chocolate Museum
Uzbekistan has opened Central Asia’s first-ever Chocolate Museum, UPL.uz reported. The new cultural venue launched inside the ethnographic park “Navruz” and was initiated by Iman Chocolate & Fruits.

The museum takes visitors on a fascinating journey through the history of chocolate — from ancient civilizations to modern confectionery trends.

Among the exhibits are chocolate miniatures of famous architectural landmarks from Uzbekistan and around the world, along with detailed figures of historical personalities. There are 19 exhibits in total, including 16 handmade chocolate sculptures.

Visitors can see chocolate replicas of Tashkent and Samarkand madrasahs, the Kalta-Minor minaret, Alisher Navoi, Amir Temur, the Taj Mahal, Statue of Liberty, Eiffel Tower, Colosseum, and even Thanos's glove.

Creating these sweet masterpieces took 850 kg of chocolate, mainly dark. Two structures are made of white chocolate. Each sculpture took at least seven days of manual work. They are coated with a special chocolate lacquer that helps preserve them for up to one year.

The museum is interactive — guests can not only view but also touch the exhibits. There's a working production facility inside, where visitors can watch the full chocolate-making process from cocoa beans to final product.

A masterclass zone will open soon, allowing guests to craft their own chocolate creations with the help of experienced chocolatiers.

The museum is open daily from 9:00 to 18:00.

Ticket prices:
• children — 50,000 UZS
• adults — 75,000 UZS
• tourists — 100,000 UZS

The museum’s opening is expected to boost cultural tourism and promote local confectionery art.
