Expenses will be recovered from deported Uzbek citizens
According to Government Resolution No. 313, a procedure is introduced for the return of citizens who were sent abroad for work in an organized manner and were deported due to violations of the legal regulations of the host country, as well as a procedure for recovering the costs associated with their return.

According to the resolution, the following enforcement measures will be applied to citizens who were deported as a result of violating the legal regulations of a foreign country during their employment abroad:
  • If the deported citizen is returned at the expense of the Migration Fund, the return costs will be recovered from the citizen;
  • Subsidies and compensation amounts provided from the Migration Fund will be recovered;
  • Services for organized employment in developed countries will not be provided for up to one year.

Deported citizens will be returned on the basis of:
  • Their application to Uzbekistan’s diplomatic missions and consular offices abroad;
  • Applications by them or their close relatives to the foreign representative offices or regional branches of the Migration Agency;
  • Information provided by the competent authorities of foreign states regarding deported citizens.

Deported citizens will be returned by financing their transportation costs.

After a citizen’s application for financial assistance is approved, a loan agreement will be concluded between the Migration Agency and the citizen within one working day.

According to the agreement, the person who received financial assistance must repay the provided amount within 30 days.
