Uzbekistan took 60th place in the peace rating
The Institute for Economics and Peace has published the Global Peace Index - 2025 international ranking, compiled annually by the Institute for Economics and Peace. In this analysis, 163 countries were assessed for their level of peace and security, and Uzbekistan, with a score of 1.96, ranked 60th, entering the top half of the ranking.

This global index evaluates countries based on 23 qualitative and quantitative indicators. These include factors such as crime rates, internal and external conflicts, political stability, the scale of armaments, defense spending, and the effectiveness of the law and order system.

The rating scale is from 1 to 5, with a low score indicating a country is considered peaceful and stable. Uzbekistan's score of 1.96 reflects the country's relatively low security environment, internal stability, and crime rates.

- Armenia - from 66 to 77th place
- Azerbaijan - from 95 to 106th place
- Georgia - from 94 to 100th place

Russia and Ukraine are at the bottom of the ranking due to armed conflicts. Russia is in 156th place, and Ukraine is in 159th place.
