Flood risk in more than 20 districts: Rain expected from May 28
"Uzgidromet" reports that due to rains expected from May 28 to June 2 this year, floods may occur in mountainous and mountainous areas of the country.

In particular, in Yakkabog, Dehkanabad, Chirakchi, Kitab, Shahrisabz, Qamashi and Guzor districts of Kashkadarya region; In Surkhandarya region, dangerous situations are expected in Sariosia, Uzun, Altinsoy, Denov, Boysun, Sherabad, Shorchi, Kumkurgan and Muzrobod districts.

Also, Urgut, Samarkand, Bulung'ur, Nurabad, Koshrabot, Kattakurgan, Payariq, Jomboy and Ishtikhon districts of Samarkand region and Khatirchi, Navbahor, Nurota, Konimekh and Karmana districts of Navoi region may be at risk of flooding.

In Jizzakh region, the districts of Zomin, Bakhmal, Gallaorol, Sharof Rashidov, Forish and Yangiabad; in Tashkent region, the districts of Ahangaran, Bostanlyk, Parkent, Piskent, Orta Chirchik, Yukari Chirchik and the cities of Angren and Almalyk are also marked as such dangerous areas.

There is also a risk of landslides in the districts of Pop, Kosansoy, Chortok, Chust, Namangan and Yangikurgan of Namangan region; in Sokh, Shohimardon, Fergana and Besharik districts of Fergana region; and in Andijan, Asaka, Zhalakuduk, Kurgantepa, Pakhtaobod, Izboskan, Khojaobod, Markhamat districts and the city of Khanobod of Andijan region.

Therefore, citizens living in mountainous and hilly areas, those vacationing there and drivers are asked to take precautions.

At the same time, it was also reported that in some areas, the increase in water levels due to rainfall may lead to flooding of the areas.
