Online admission to grade 1: a new process will begin on June 20

It has been officially announced that the admission of children to grade 1 in all schools in Uzbekistan for the 2025-2026 academic year will begin on June 20. This was officially announced by the Ministry of Preschool and School Education. The news is in the spotlight of parents, school administrations, and local authorities.

According to the new procedure, admission to grade 1 will be carried out in two stages:

The first stage will last from June 20 to July 31. During this period, parents can register their children for schools in their microdistricts electronically through state services.

The second stage is intended for schools outside the microdistricts from August 1 to August 15. At this stage, it will also be possible to submit documents to schools in other districts and cities.

The application process for state schools in all districts and cities will be carried out through a special electronic platform - my.maktab.uz. Parents can use the platform to submit an online application for admission of their children to school.

In some regions where state services are not provided, information about admitted children is entered through a special electronic database of the Ministry of Preschool and School Education - adm.maktab.uz.

Education officials emphasize that all conditions have been created for these processes to be transparent and fast. This innovation will significantly simplify the process of entering school, eliminate unnecessary hassle and queues.

Note:
According to the Law "On Education", children are admitted to school in the year they turn seven years old. Therefore, this year, children born before December 31, 2018 will be admitted to the 1st grade.
