Yandex to pay taxes for drivers and couriers

In Uzbekistan, companies working with self-employed individuals must pay taxes on their behalf if their annual income exceeds 100 million UZS, according to a decision by the Tax Committee, Kursiv Media reported.

Yandex Uzbekistan confirmed that it has completed technical integration with the national tax system. Starting from July 2, taxes on the income of drivers and couriers working with Yandex Go services will be deducted automatically.

Information on who is subject to tax withholding will be provided directly by tax authorities. All deductions will be displayed in the Yandex Pro app, and taxpayers will also receive data from the relevant agency.
