In Uzbekistan, as the last month of summer gradually opens the way to autumn, high-temperature days are still persisting across the country. According to the new weather forecast from Uzhydromet for August 11–14, especially at the beginning of the week, the heat will once again make its presence felt throughout the republic.
Meteorologists note that in the Republic of Karakalpakstan and Khorezm region, the sky will be partly cloudy and no precipitation is expected. Winds will mainly be from the east at 7–12 m/s, with occasional gusts up to 13–18 m/s, and there is a chance of dust storms. On August 11, nighttime temperatures will be 20–25°C, daytime 35–40°C, and on August 12–14, nighttime 18–23°C, daytime around 30–35°C.
In Bukhara and Navoi regions, the weather will also be partly cloudy and dry, with no rain expected. Winds will mainly be from the east at 7–12 m/s, occasionally increasing to 13–18 m/s. On August 11–12, nighttime temperatures will be 21–26°C, and on August 13–14, nights will be cooler at 19–24°C. Daytime temperatures on August 11 will reach 37–42°C, and in the following days around 34–39°C.
In Tashkent, Syrdarya, Jizzakh, and Samarkand regions, skies will be clear, winds 7–12 m/s, with possible gusts up to 13–18 m/s in some areas. Dusty weather is possible. Nighttime temperatures will be 19–24°C, daytime on August 11–12 will be 35–40°C, and on August 13–14 — 33–38°C.
In Kashkadarya and Surkhandarya regions, the climate will also remain dry and hot. Winds 7–12 m/s, occasionally up to 13–18 m/s. Nighttime temperatures will be 21–26°C, daytime on August 11–13 will be 37–42°C, and on August 14 — around 35–40°C.
In Andijan, Namangan, and Fergana regions, dry weather without precipitation will continue. On August 14, in some areas, wind speeds may reach 13–18 m/s. Nighttime temperatures will be 19–24°C, daytime on August 11–13 will be 34–39°C, and on August 14 — 33–38°C.
In the mountainous regions of the republic, the weather will be partly cloudy and variable, with no precipitation expected. Wind speeds will be 7–12 m/s, occasionally up to 13–18 m/s. Nighttime temperatures will be 14–19°C, daytime on August 11–12 will be 27–32°C, and on August 13–14 — around 25–30°C.
Meteorologists warn that strong winds and dust storms spread especially quickly in dry and open areas, so the population is advised to take precautions. On windy days, it is recommended to spend less time outdoors, increase water consumption, and use umbrellas or head coverings.
