On August 12, sharp changes in weather conditions are expected across our country. According to information released by Uzhydromet, in some regions the wind may blow strongly, and dust storms may occur. At the same time, the likelihood of precipitation is almost zero; the weather will mostly be dry and hot.
In Tashkent city, in the first half of the day, the sky will be slightly cloudy, with no precipitation expected. The wind is expected to blow from the east at 3–8 m/s, but at certain times it may strengthen to 10–12 m/s and raise dust into the air. The night temperature will be around 22–24 degrees, while daytime heat will rise to 38–40 degrees.
In the Republic of Karakalpakstan and Khorezm region, the sky will be slightly cloudy or variable, with no precipitation expected. The average wind speed will be 7–12 m/s, in some places strengthening to 13–18 m/s, with possible dust storms. At night, 18–23 degrees are expected, during the day — 32–37 degrees of heat.
In Bukhara and Navoi regions, the weather will also be mostly dry and slightly cloudy. The wind will be from the east at 7–12 m/s, in some places strengthening to 13–18 m/s. The temperature at night will be 21–26 degrees, during the day — around 34–39 degrees.
In Tashkent, Syrdarya, Jizzakh, and Samarkand regions, the weather will be slightly cloudy and rainless. Wind speed 7–12 m/s, in some places up to 13–18 m/s, with possible dust uplift. The temperature at night — 19–24 degrees, during the day — 35–40 degrees.
In Kashkadarya and Surkhandarya regions, clear skies and dry weather are also expected. The wind will be 7–12 m/s, in some periods strengthening to 13–18 m/s. The temperature at night — 21–26 degrees, during the day — up to 37–42 degrees.
In Andijan, Namangan, and Fergana regions, the sky will be slightly cloudy. The wind will blow from the east at 5–10 m/s. The temperature at night — 19–24 degrees, during the day — 34–39 degrees.
In the mountainous areas of the republic, the weather will be slightly cloudy and variable, with no precipitation expected. The wind — 7–12 m/s, in some places up to 13–18 m/s. The temperature at night — 14–19 degrees, during the day — 28–33 degrees.
Meteorologists emphasize that in some regions the probability of strong winds and dust storms is high and urge the population to be cautious. Specialists recommend, due to the high heat, consuming more fluids, avoiding direct sunlight, and not staying outdoors for long periods.
