Special platform to attract investment will be launched

A special investment platform will be launched in Uzbekistan to simplify attracting funds for projects, Kursiv reported.

This was announced by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev during an open dialogue with entrepreneurs. On this platform, those interested in financing will be able to post their projects.

Investors will study these projects and participate not as founders but as partners based on income. The President emphasized that investments will have guaranteed protection.

Through the new system, entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to attract an additional 1 billion dollars (approximately 12.5 trillion soms) annually.

According to Mirziyoyev, under the current procedure, limited liability companies are required to include the investor in the founders' composition. However, this method is not suitable for everyone, and the main burden falls on banks.
