According to the Central Bank data, in the second quarter of 2025, the number of vacancies in Uzbekistan increased, while the activity of job seekers decreased, Kursiv reported.
Based on job search services data, the number of vacancies increased by 28.7% compared to the previous quarter. The highest demand was observed in trade, general catering, and manufacturing sectors.
The Central Bank noted that seasonal factors also influenced the growth in April–June. However, online job search activity has decreased compared to the last two years.
Additionally, there are not enough specialists with the qualifications required by employers. Many resumes do not meet the specified criteria.
According to the Central Bank, in April–June 2025, the share of enterprises ready to increase the number of employees in the next 3 months decreased to 30.2%.
