More than 199 thousand tourists visited Karakalpakstan in 7 months

More than 199.3 thousand foreign tourists visited Karakalpakstan from January to July this year, Kursiv.media reported.

In the first half of the year, the region's tourism services exports amounted to 26.1 million dollars (more than 325 billion soms). Also, more than 1.6 million citizens of our country visited the region from January to June.

As of August 1, 13 tourism enterprises started operating in Karakalpakstan — eight tour operators and five travel agencies. Additionally, two hotels, nine hostels, and three guest houses were launched.
