Kuwaiti investor in Khorezm: «Qovun sayli» and new agreements

The head of Dejavu for Juice, Ahmad al-Bagiliy, took part in the business forum and the international «Qovun sayli» festival held in Khorezm region. Within this visit, the guest communicated with local businesspeople and discussed practical areas of cooperation.

Speaking about the «Qovun sayli» festival, the Kuwaiti representative noted that he had attended many international events, but that this festival organized on the ancient land of Khorezm stands out with a distinctive charm and spirit. He emphasized that the harmony of cultural tradition, local cuisine, and hospitality makes the event unique.

Within the framework of the business forum, the Kuwaiti entrepreneur held B2B meetings with Uzbek business circles. During the conversations, proposals were exchanged on promising areas of mutual cooperation — processed foods, the beverages industry, retail networks, and logistics. During the trip, separate negotiations were also organized with representatives of Japan Uz Trade House and Khorezm Insulation Group in Khorezm.

The content of the meetings first of all included a thorough review of the issue of exporting dry and dried fruits from Uzbekistan to Kuwait. The parties discussed the initiative to form working groups to define convenient transport-logistics routes, harmonize delivery timelines and quality standards, and optimize certification and customs procedures.

In short, the business forum in Khorezm and the international «Qovun sayli» festival became a convenient platform for taking trade-economic ties with Kuwait to a new stage: needs and proposals were identified, practical steps of cooperation were outlined, and initial agreements on export logistics were discussed. Next comes turning the agreements into concrete projects and implementing joint initiatives.
