According to the National Statistics Committee, in January-July 2025, a total of 949.9 thousand foreign citizens visited Uzbekistan for travel purposes. It was noted that this indicator increased by 319.3 thousand people or 50.6 percent compared to the corresponding period last year.
The distribution of foreign citizens who arrived in Uzbekistan from different countries during the 7 months of this year by country is as follows:
Russia - 194.3 thousand people, that is, one of the most visited countries;
Turkmenistan - 147.8 thousand people, tourists from a brotherly country;
Kazakhstan - 102.9 thousand people, share of high-level travelers;
Kyrgyz Republic - 82.1 thousand people, arriving from close neighbors;
China - 60.8 thousand people, a figure indicating large economic and tourist ties;
Tajikistan - 60.5 thousand people, regional travelers;
Turkey - 36 thousand people, one of the important destinations between Europe and Asia;
India - 24.9 thousand people, the most common among world tourists;
Italy - 20.6 thousand people, the number of cultural tourists is increasing;
South Korea - 18.7 thousand people, tourists from Asia;
Germany - 17.3 thousand people, European travelers;
USA - 15.5 thousand people, indicating intercontinental connections;
Other countries - 168.5 thousand people, a number of tourists from around the world.
