According to “Uzhydromet,” from September 12 to 14, the influence of a cold air mass will remain over Uzbekistan. This will especially cause a significant drop in temperature across the republic during the weekend.
On Friday and Saturday, most regions will see dry and relatively warm weather. Temperatures will stay around +30 to +35°C, and in some areas, it may rise to +37 to +39°C. Only in Karakalpakstan and Khorezm region, short rains and thunderstorms are expected. In these areas, daytime temperatures will drop to +20 to +25°C.
On Sunday, cooling will begin throughout the republic. Daytime temperatures will range from +25 to +30°C, while in the southern regions, it will be around +33 to +35°C. Meanwhile, on September 12, in the northern and desert zones, wind intensification is expected. During the weekend, the wind may reach 13–18 m/s in some places, raising dust storms.
In Tashkent, today the temperature will reach +33 to +35°C. On Saturday, it will be +31 to +33°C, and on Sunday it will fall to +27 to +29°C. Nighttime temperatures will stay around +16 to +19°C. The east wind may intensify to 10–12 m/s at times.
Meteorologists note that in the early days of next week, the cold air mass will continue to affect the weather. Night temperatures will drop to +10 to +15°C, while daytime will be +20 to +25°C. Short rains and thunderstorms are also possible in some regions.
