During his working visit to the Namangan region, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev got acquainted with the working processes of the "Fishvel Norin" fishery enterprise located in the Naryn district.
It was reported that this project was launched with an investment of $ 3 million. A total of 76 modern ponds have been created on an area of more than two hectares, 40 of which are currently in operation. Trout fish are being raised using a super-intensive method. The enterprise aims to produce 2 thousand tons of high-quality meat per year and export $ 5 million.
The head of state instructed officials to identify districts in the republic with the potential for salmon farming and to widely establish this system. He also gave instructions to produce fish feed together with Dutch partners, build artificial ponds near vertical wells in Naryn and distribute them to the population.
Shawkat Mirziyoyev also inspected the activities of the "Firdavs" day care center established in the city of Namangan. This institution, opened at the initiative of entrepreneur Sayyora Kasimova, is designed for 36 places and provides special education and rehabilitation services. 9-hour individual training programs have been established for children. The classes are conducted by experienced neurologists, defectologists, audiologists, teachers and psychologists. The President emphasized that no one should be left out, and the scale of such social projects will be further expanded.
Here, the Head of State also saw the newly established center called "Step to an Active Life - Five Services". This institution, built by entrepreneur Khosiyat Artikova at the expense of her own funds, provides modern amenities, medical services and rehabilitation programs for people with disabilities. The center is designed for 16 people, and 8-hour classes are held every day.
Shawkat Mirziyoyev also visited the "Ayqiron-1" pumping station in Chartok district. This facility, located on the Large Namangan Main Canal, irrigates 815 hectares of land. Entrepreneurs installed energy-saving equipment here on the basis of a public-private partnership. As a result, electricity consumption was reduced by up to 40 percent, and water output increased.
The President set the task of implementing the "Aikiron-1" experience at pumping stations throughout the region within two years, and then gradually introducing it to other regions of the country.
It was noted that the projects implemented within the framework of this visit are not only economically effective, but also have social significance.
