Now you can resolve disputes without going to court!

In Uzbekistan, disputes and claims between citizens and entrepreneurs can now be resolved faster and with less expense through mediation, without reaching court.

According to the new law:

• Agreements concluded through mediation, if not voluntarily executed, may be enforced through the court;
• For this, the application must be submitted within 6 months after the conclusion of the mediation;
• If the mediator violates the law and ethics, disciplinary action is applied to him;
• This system will serve to reduce the burden on the courts and resolve disputes in a civilized manner.

These changes will allow for an increase in the legal culture of the people and a fair and prompt resolution of disputes.
