Electricity and natural gas prices will not increase during the current autumn-winter season. This was announced by Minister of Energy Jo‘rabek Mirzamahmudov.
According to the minister, in order to maintain stable supply for the population and ensure social stability, there will be no changes in energy resource prices this season. At the same time, the government is implementing comprehensive measures to maintain stability in the energy system and improve supply quality.
Mirzamahmudov noted that electricity and natural gas prices will be indexed in May next year in line with the inflation rate. This process is planned to be carried out gradually, taking into account the interests of the population.
According to the Ministry of Energy, during the autumn-winter season, the main priority is to prevent interruptions in energy supply, manage production capacities efficiently, and ensure uninterrupted energy delivery to consumers.
