
On November 10, the city of Tashkent ranked second in the world for air pollution levels, IQAir reported.
According to the data, as of 16:51, the concentration of harmful PM 2.5 particles in the capital’s air reached 121.6 µg/m³. This figure is 24 times higher than the limit recommended by the World Health Organization.
Officials advised residents to stay indoors unless necessary, and people with respiratory diseases to wear medical masks.

It is also recommended to wash hands and face after returning home, prevent dust buildup indoors, keep doors and windows closed, and clean surfaces with a damp cloth several times a day.
Meteorologists emphasized that the current situation indicates a worsening of the environmental problems in the capital.
