New labor cooperation between Uzbekistan and Russia is expanding

At the initiative of the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Yekaterinburg and the representative office of the Migration Agency, important meetings were held with the participation of large local companies, reports IA "Dunyo." The main focus of these negotiations was on the legal, secure, and systematic employment of Uzbek specialists, as well as strengthening bilateral economic cooperation.

A conversation was held with Olga Seves, a representative of Eurakor JSC, which is implementing more than 90 projects in the oil and gas, energy, industrial, and construction sectors of Russia. He emphasized that the company provides free accommodation, food, guaranteed wages, and all necessary conditions for employees hired under a contract. At the same time, specific proposals were made regarding the selection of personnel, the issuance of patents, and their transportation to the workplace.

During the conversation, the work process at "Eurakor," working and living conditions, the list of documents, and the rules required for foreign employees were covered in detail. The company also noted the high demand for Uzbek specialists.

A meeting was also held in Tyumen with the director of "Provence" LLC, specializing in the processing of salads and arugula, Tatiana Ovsyankina. He said that the company imports iceberg salad and arugula from Uzbekistan, and due to the high demand for these products in the domestic market, it plans to purchase 200 tons of iceberg and 40 tons of arugula per month. In this regard, he asked for assistance in establishing direct cooperation with Uzbek farmers and exporters.

During the meetings, the Uzbek side noted that modern mono-centers operate throughout the republic, through which effective personnel selection, training, and direct cooperation with employers are established.

Following the negotiations, the parties agreed on specific practical measures to improve job vacancies, working and living conditions, address existing problems in document processing, and expand the export of agricultural products from Uzbekistan.

These meetings show that cooperation in the labor market between the two countries is not only ongoing, but is also reaching a new level.
