The President of Kazakhstan sent a letter of gratitude to the President of Uzbekistan

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev thanked Shavkat Mirziyoyev for the warm hospitality extended to the Kazakh delegation during the state visit to the Republic of Uzbekistan on November 14-16.

The letter notes that this visit is of historical significance, which gave a powerful impetus to strengthening the relations of strategic partnership and alliance between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev also highly appreciated the organization of the VII Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia in Tashkent.

According to him, meaningful discussions on the entire spectrum of regional cooperation, important decisions and documents adopted, as well as the accession of Azerbaijan as a full member, gave the forum the status of a strategically important event, the letter says.
