
The Worldwide IQ platform has published the updated ranking of countries’ average intelligence indicators for 2025. In the list, Uzbekistan took 97th place among 111 countries. The country’s average IQ score is 92.2 points, which is below the global average level of 100 points.
Japan (112.20), China (111.74) and Taiwan (111.19) occupy the top three positions in the ranking. Among European countries, Hungary showed the highest result, ranking fourth with 111.06 points.
Among CIS countries, Russia, Armenia, Belarus and Azerbaijan recorded relatively high scores. In Central Asia, Kazakhstan ranked 88th (95.49 points), Tajikistan 95th (94.11 points), and Kyrgyzstan 105th (92.29 points).
Ukraine, with a score of 94.99 points, dropped from last year’s 75th place to 90th. Oman, Kenya and Ethiopia appear in the following positions.
