On January 14, Uzbekistan approved a list of diseases that grant some individuals permission to not wear a seatbelt in a car. This was reported by the Ministry of Health.
It is stated that individuals with the listed conditions are entitled to not wear a seatbelt based on a medical certificate. To do so, the patient must provide an electronic medical certificate issued by a primary healthcare provider or a state medical institution.
The list of conditions includes severe medical conditions, which allow individuals to avoid wearing seatbelts in order to prevent worsening of their condition. This list is particularly important for patients who are trying to avoid harm from sudden movements or pressures.
