Children left orphaned in Russia returned to Uzbekistan

Six Uzbek minors who were left without parental supervision in Russia have been successfully repatriated to Uzbekistan following a collaborative effort between national social protection agencies and the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs. Upon their arrival at Tashkent International Airport on April 21, the children were reunited with their families and relatives under established legal procedures. Local "Inson" social service centers have been tasked with providing ongoing psychological and social assistance to ensure the children's smooth reintegration into society. Officials emphasized that such initiatives are crucial for safeguarding children's rights and maintaining family unity for those caught in vulnerable situations abroad.
On April 21 of this year, as a result of interagency cooperation and effective ties established with the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, 6 underage children left without parental care abroad were returned to Uzbekistan. This was reported by the press service of the National Social Protection Agency.
It was noted that the children were brought to the capital via the Islam Karimov Tashkent International Airport. They were handed over to their relatives and family members in accordance with the established procedure.

In particular, the task of providing them with social, psychological, and necessary assistance, as well as regularly monitoring their condition, has been assigned to the "Inson" social services centers in the regions.
Experts believe that such initiatives play an important role in protecting children's rights and interests, returning them to their families, and facilitating their adaptation to society.
