Trump sets record: 38 executive orders in 10 days
U.S. President Donald Trump has signed 38 executive orders in just ten days, making him the most prolific in modern American history, reports Axios.

Second and third places in the ranking go to 46th President Joe Biden and 33rd President Harry Truman, both of whom signed more than 40 executive orders in their first 100 days.

Speaking at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Trump declared that his election victory signified a "golden age" for America. He also stated that he had taken swift action to "reverse leftist radical policies."

One of Trump's first signed laws was aimed at shutting down illegal immigration through the southern borders and deporting those already in the country. Additionally, he ordered officials to stop granting citizenship to children born on U.S. soil.

Trump also issued executive orders changing gender policies. From now on, the U.S. officially recognizes only male and female genders, and government funding for minors undergoing gender transition will be halted.

Furthermore, the president pardoned around 1,500 individuals accused of involvement in the Capitol riots.
