Ukraine to Provide the US with $500 Billion Worth of Rare Metals

Ukraine has agreed to grant the United States access to its rare metal deposits, valued at approximately $500 billion. This deal will be carried out regardless of how the war ends, serving as payment for military aid provided by the US.

Former US President Donald Trump revealed this information during an interview with Fox News. According to him, American companies will gain access to Ukraine’s deposits of titanium, manganese, iron, copper, and other strategically important resources. The United States places particular value on titanium, as it is an irreplaceable material used in the production of fighter jets, military helicopters, naval ships, tanks, ballistic missiles, and other advanced military technologies.

Until now, the US has relied on imports for 90% of its titanium needs. With control over Ukraine’s mines, this dependency will be significantly reduced. Preliminary calculations suggest that titanium extraction from Ukraine alone could save the US at least $182 million annually.
