More than 30 people were injured in a firecracker explosion before a football match in India, NDTV reported, citing police.
According to police, the incident occurred on Monday, February 17. Firecrackers were set off on a football field, which exploded and flew into the stands. All the injured were taken to a nearby hospital. There were no reports of serious injuries. Police are investigating the incident.
On February 4, a child in China threw a firecracker into a sewer. As a result, a methane explosion occurred, damaging eight cars parked in a parking lot. Damage to vehicles was estimated at 285,000 yuan (almost $40,000). There were no reports of casualties or injuries.
