Trump did not give a specific answer to this question, but he stressed that the Mexican government is not being decisive enough in preventing illegal immigrants, including dangerous criminals, from entering the United States.

"We are dealing with Mexico right now. I have a very good relationship with Mexico. But I think Mexico is largely run by cartels," he said. "It's sad to talk about it, but if they ask us for help, we will help them."
